Sunday School — Sundays at 9:00 a.m.
We’re doing an exciting new Sunday School program called SPARK! We pray it ignites faith and a love for Jesus! It means we’re going to have lots of fun together learning 7 key Stories from The Bible through Art, Music, Science, Puppets, Food, Games, Drama and more! Bring a friend from preschool through 5th Grade to SPARK on Sundays at 9! Middle School & High School youth are serving as helpers!
3rd and 4th Grade Bible Classes
Each year, we hold some special classes for parents and children together to learn about the Bible — what’s in it, who is in it, how to get around in it, how to read it for stories and prayer time. At the end of this series of classes, students receive their own Bible presented to them by their parents with prayers during Sunday worship. We’re helping parents to fulfill the promises they made at Holy Baptism to “place in their child’s hands the Holy Scriptures and provide for their instruction in the Christian faith.”
5th Grade First Communion Classes
Each school year, we hold special classes for parents and children together to learn about the Sacrament of Holy Communion — God’s gift of grace commanded by Christ through the ordinary physical elements of bread and wine which empowers us to serve. If your son or daughter has already received Communion instruction in another congregation at an earlier age, we honor that instruction and welcome them to receive Communion.
Wednesday Night Senior High — 6:15 p.m. every Wednesday
9th – 12th grade youth meet for supper, fellowship, gabbing, growing and games in the Youth Room!
