"Serving Others/Enriching Lives Family Mentors" - There are times when each of us needs a helping hand. If you have a need or if you can lend a hand, just fill out the yellow "Serving Others" card in the pew, put it in the offering plate, and the Outreach Team will match needs and helpers. All information will be handled with compassionate discretion.
Bulletin announcements are due in the office by noon on Thursday.
What's Going On At Grace:
Growing Season -- We take this "growing season" in the church year to feed, water, weed and nurture our faith so God can grow us into the image of Christ. A year ago, we illustrated the "Growing Season" by hanging green strips in the front of the church. Many of you participated by bringing green strips of fabric which were meaningful to you. Beginning in July, we would like to continue hanging green strips of fabric, approximately 4-6" wide and 6-10' long. Last year's strips have been braided and will also be displayed to illustrate our fortified strength when we work together. In addition to the strips, we invite you to bring a flower, beautiful leaf, ornamental grass, any growing item when you come to church. Put your stems or bouquets in a vase and place them on the green bench in the front of the church. These stems will again illustrate our growing faith and beautify our sanctuary. Thanks!
Relay for Life will be held in Gothenburg on July 25-26. You can make donations and purchase luminaries through the display on the table in the narthex.
Relay For Life Bake Sale last week raised $403.50. Thank you to all the bakers and buyers.
Caring Cooks – The Caring Cooks would like to encourage the congregation to let them know of people in need of a "Care Package" of food! Talk to Pastor Megan or Kathy Neil if you know of a need.
"It's Fun to Serve!" Confirmation Trip to Worlds of Fun and Kansas City – Mark your calendars for July 27-29 for 6th-9th graders to do Worlds of Fun and a service project in Kansas City! $61.00 & permission form are due to Sharon in the office today.
